Easy Level-Up

If you want to gain levels fast (but lack time, patience, or an editor), you can use the Multiplayer option to do so.
1. You need a reasonably strong character saved to do this (at least...to do it quickly and easily).
2. Start a new game and import your experienced character via multiplayer.
3. Find a juicy monster worth lots of exp. I used the Troll Giant in Fargrove at first, then the Elder Kyusho in The Trial of the Ancients. The Troll is worth ~55,000 and Kyushu ~ 760,000 (on Hard setting). The troll is handy for new characters, cuz you have the Town Guards to protect you.
4. Beat the monster ALMOST to death and then save the game.
5. Import whatever character you wish to bulk up to deliver the killing blow.
6. Make sure not to save over your EXP generator save!
7. Wash, rinse, repeat...
Needless to say, you will still have to take the time to do the promotion/guild quests, but this is a big time-saver if you want to try various class combinations without spending hours of gameplay. Also, if you import any character with a moonstone into a game where the Vale of Ruins has been activated, then that character will automatically learn the VoR moonbridge code. Very handy for completing the 3rd tier class.
