Conversations with Atton

Um, how do I get the "counting cards" conversation with Atton? I've played pazaak with him a lot and...yeah. Also how do I find out that his name was "Jaq"?

To answer your questions

When you first go to Nar SHadaa you will be walking near the main hub( that area that lead you to the bar ,the dock , and refugee sector and keria will contact you and you will "Hear" Nar shadaa. When you return to the ship and ask her to teach you about the force you will hear everyone again and Atton will be counting and she will explain she does many meaningless tasks like this. GO talk to him and then you will get a bonus fp points (i think) and infulense gain. ONLY ASK HIM TO TEACH YOU HOW TO PLAY PASSAK IN THIS SITUATION NOT FOR HIM TO TEACH YOU HOW TO SHEILD YOUR MIND!!!
And about Jaq two twi'leks wil aproach u in the refugee sector and they (for i think 25 credits) will tell u that he wasn't always atton and he was a murderer before coming to Nar Shadaa. If your influense is high enough i think he will tell you.

As far as I know, Atton's real name, whether it's Jaq or something else, is never revealed in the game. I think it was printed in a guide book as 'Atton "Jaq" Rand' but all we get in the actual game is 'Atton Rand' and some innuendo suggesting that it's not his actual name. If Obsidian intended to reveal his name as Jaq at some point I can only assume that it's part of the extensive cut content.

I never come across anything like this before the last time I played. I agree that it's most probably part of the cut content as well.
