Adamantide for Simmy(Spoilers)

Hello, I was just wondering if this quest was ever finished or has an end? I have patched mine to 1.03840 and spoke with Simmy on my 2nd run and still got the quest but I just finished Act 1 but still did not find his admantide

I thought this quest was taken out of the game. I've never seen it.

Yes I think swcarter is correct we talked about his in a coiuple of threads about Old Owl Well.
It was defiantly in the orginal release, but I never got far enough in that version or could never find what Simmy was looking for in the Old Owl Well area.
