I have only been playing the game for less than a week so I am still in the early part (just recently talked to Maze in Oakvale!), so I have no idea about this:

Is there anywhere in the game where I can sell unwanted style cards (tatts and hair) and the dark will user clothes/armor? Also the apprentice clothes?

If you want to sell your style or tattoo cards, you have to go to the barber or the tattooist. As for the clothing or armour, you can sell them to the weapon shop dealer (doubles as an armour dealer as well).

Sorry my friend, but I don't remember being given a sell option at either the travelling barber & travelling tattoist OR at the barber shop!

And every armorer that I have talked to in the area of the game that I've been through has not accepted the dark will user stuff or the apprentice gear! (it was "greyed out" in the menu).

That's why I asked the question. I understand the basic gameplay as pertains to trading, I was just wondering about acceptance of what I wanted to sell!

You can sell tattoo cards? I thought they were there for you to get more styles of tatoos. But what do I know, I just started this game not too long ago. Still lots of stuff I'll find out about this game as I progress further into it and check on the forums from time to time.

I am not sure if they can be sold, as I said in my reply to DES- I never was given the option to sell em!

I am not interested in the ones in my inventory as the ones I currently have on are better, so I would like to be able to dump em for some nice shiny gold pieces! (same for my hairstyle- I don't think I'll change my warrior ponytail!)

It's been a while since I last played the game but I do recall that I was able to sell both the hair style cards and the tattoo cards but only to travelling merchants (I think only some of them). I also suspect that some of those style cards cannot be sold.

As for the clothing, I recall that most clothing and weapons can be sold but the legendary ones like the Will user clothing (both dark and bright) and the Cutlass Bluetane as an example cannot be sold at most shops. If you want to get rid of them, you can donate them (Spoilers, please highlight)

to a certain place in Snowspire Village (only in TLC version and much later in the game). You won't get any money from the transaction but you will get good points.
