Slight Problem

I just bought the whole NW series, 1 2 plus expansions. I am starting with 1 and have installed the patch. My character (an elven fighter) has just finished the jailbreak in the pits and killed the mind devourer and the head gaoler. Unfortunately, I seem to have lost a couple of points of intelligence. (No jokes please) . I do not want to use the walkthrough, but is there any way to recover lost attributes? I suspect that from this instace there are ways to have other attributes (strength, con etc.) drained. Any assistance in this matter would be helpful.

Thanky you (hopefully)

Your intelligence is marked in red, right?

Go to Aribeth and ask her to heal you. That should remove the drain. If not, get hold of a potion of restoration (lesser?) and drink it.

And if THAT doesn't work, I'm willing to bet that it's a bug.

Fiberfar, thank you for answering so quickly! As I am still in NWN 1 Aribeth should be a good solution.

Hello again, one more question while I am watching all you knowledgable folks. Is it possible to heal ones henchmen?

Yes, by dragging a healing potion from your inventory to them, or by using a Healing Kit. Try it while you're not in combat, pause the game, open your inventory, and drag a healing potion to the henchman you want to heal. The henchman should then have a coloured 'circle' surrounding them. Unpausing the game should then result in them drinking the potion.

You can of course also do this while the game isn't paused, but I find it easier to do while paused because it's easier to "aim" the potion. ;)
