Hello all, it seems I'm having an issue with this particular quest, and I'm hoping it's not with the UB mod itself, but anyways.

The problem is right after I finish talk to the pet shop owner and he inadvertently teleports me to the Druid's Grove. When I arrive I get attacked by Trolls, but one of the trolls just attacks Minsc and none of the Trolls will die, they just remain "Near Death".

I was wondering if this is part of the actual mod or if there's some sort of incompatability with the other mods I'm running or if it's some sort of glitch

here is a list of the mods I am currently using:

Fixpack v.1
Tweaks v.3
Ascension v1.4.21
Redemption v1.2
Improved Summons
Oversight v.9
Crossmod v.4
Evil Override Dialogues
and of course, Unfinished Business v.15

This is what I'm using, and I would appreciate any help.

This is a fairly well known glitch with UB.
One way it can be dealt with is by placing Minsc under an improved invisibility spell. Having him remain in Shadows or even regular invisibility might work too.

While you can damage the Trolls with any weapon, in order to kill them you have to inflict fire or acid damage.

Are you using any weapons that have a fire or acid bonus damage? If you do not have any of those types of weapons, you can use Acid Arrow, Fire Arrows, spells, and/or potions.

Use your standard weapons to attack the trolls until the fall to the ground. Then hit them with the fire or acid damage. Usually only 1 hit is needed.

I'm well aware of that and I do use fire weapons, but they never drop down to the ground like they should typically do instead they stay standing in the state I mentioned above.

What I usaully do is go invisible as well and run my arse off to the other side of the map so I can return to Athkatla. Don't worry about the trolls too much; the next time you'll visit the Druid Grove you'll be able to kill them. As normal.

ah so their invunerability IS part of the quest somehow. That helps a great deal

I once had a similar problem. I can't remember which mod was involved (I'm not sure I ever figured out which one it was), but it might have been the one that has Improved Tor'Gal. Basically, throughout the game, creatures that I killed would act as if they were still alive. I was literally attacked by their carcasses. In one particularly amusing example, I "gibbed" a Cowled Enforcer, but her body parts continued swirling around where she had been standing (roughly in the shape of a human) and she continued to cast protection spells. I pretended that it was part of some strange undeath experience. Most of the problems I had were with trolls that according to the screen were "dead". They looked like the trolls curled up on the ground that are "near death", but I couldn't kill them because they were already dead. The problem was that they stood back up and attacked me. I think I tried to use CTRL-Y to get rid of them, but I never finished that game and I eventually reinstalled everything from scratch.

hahaha, wow. That isn't too inspiring there because I'm far too lazy to reinstall right now. I'm just hoping it just has something to do with the quest itself, especially considering my problem isn't as severe as yours.
