Not to mention the former Moonblade. (Btw,I think his brother's the +12 Hackmaster )

Tough choice there is alot to choice from. MY main charcter uses the equalizer. But now that I am thinking about it the sword you get in the begining of the game in the sewers licor. That is a dam good weapon. When fighting the mind sucking bastards it is a good weapon to have. I gave it to minsc and boo then would cast Chaotic commands on him and we could take a whole room out by himself. Personaly I think boo was doing it.

Cloak of Mirroring....the game just becomes so much easier not only when fighting the likes of Gauths, Elder Orbs and other Beholder kin........but also against other magic-users that use low level offensive spells......

I remember once when I exited the underdark.....the drow and elves were fighting outside and a drow mage cast a fireball at me.....the fireball "reflected" back and hit a few elves as well........they got pissed(turned red)...I got scared and fled back to the underdark...the game autosaved and I quicksaved....
Now every time that I exited the underdark the elves were still hostile....and every time I got a dialogue and then instant death by the elven war mages......spoiled the whole game so I had to restart from the beginning........really taught me to always have a couple of saved games around.....

Got the same problem in the copornot inn but i can live with it i just need to put AI out and they won't attack the few commonors that are mad at me. They aren't important i guess.
And my favo magic item on the moment is...........that sword that can talk i lost his name But it is SO cool i love it.

You mean the "Lilarcor"???? Equip it on Minsc and all that talking is really hilarious.....

Too bad there aren't any +4 or higher long swords .My favourite weapon is the Flail of the Ages because of how early you can get it and effectiveness in killing regenerating creatures

Yes the flail is really useful too for figuring out the resistances of unfamiliar creatures. IIRC the "order" of the flail heads' damage messages in the text box are acid, fire, then cold.

I find Lilarcor really annoying. If you cast "Chaotic commands" then any psionics protection from Lilarcor is redundant, isn't it?

On the cloak of Mirroring:
Had it equipped on Imoen, who proceeded to cast Melf's arrow against a cleric with a "physical mirror" spell up. Heh, it just all turned into a friendly game of badminton, that arrow going back and forth, back and forth.

The only surefire way I found to resist psionics when you're out of spells is to give Mazzy the shield of Harmony. That with her special Sword of Avoreen (prevents stun) seems to cover all the possible mind spells of the flayers.

For this reason the shield of Harmony is one of my favourite items. Aerie can use it too, I think.

My mage found boomerang dagger prob is i going to duel to a cleric any ideas?

the best combo of items is the dragon plate, basilisk ring, cloak of mirroring, greenstone amulet( from mordenkain sword) and sheild of deflection.
with me being a cavalier this means i have more than 100% fire resistance, immune to missiles(arrows, bolts, etc) and most direct-damage mage and cleric spells!
i can now solo against most mages and all archers!

Hmm..playing a solo monk right now...best item for me at the moment is the amulet of power cause now at level 12..almost 13 woohoo..he can take on an army himself...and aint fraid of those vamp anymore..."bring it on...i aint done"
