I got woken up 5 hours early by a phone call and noticed it was Jopperm2 AND Bloodstalkers birthday. I was planning on doing this before sleeping, but creativity died and figured someone else might do so and make it super creative. I woke up and no one did. Now my brain is shot, and well, it needs to be done!
So, I am going to just leave these magazines *here* for them to enjoy as a birthday present. Just make sure they don't end up sticky.
Happy Birthday.

Ha! Even in the modern age of DVD, nothing beats the early morning smell of glossy magazines.
Thanks Magrus.. Now everyone knows that January 22 is truly the best day ever to be born as both BS and I were born on this great day.
Over evil visionaries born on this day include:
Linda Blair
Steve Perry
Sir Francis Bacon
Bill Bixby
and Ed Bradley!
Aquarians unite and take over the universe!
Thank you and good day.

I like magazines (oh, and splatbooks!) too. Primarily for the fact if someone interrupts your morning read, you can swat them with your morning read. Painful enough to be a warning, but not the crippling pain of a textbook or *shudders* your mornving viewing pleasure, the televison.

Congrats to both. I really needed that image of a sticky stack of PC Gamer...

It would have to be an older version of the mag I think. I can't recall any "hot" pixelated female gaming heroes lately.

No, but the issue of Game Informer that is on my bathroom floor comes to mind. It has pics of some Japanese girls Cosplaying Dead or Alive Volleyball at the TGS. God, I'm a nerd.

And here I thought all nerds brought the laptop to the bathroom.
Oh, and can someone explain to the semi-nerd (me) what "Japanese girls Cosplaying Dead or Alive Volleyball at the TGS" means? I think I need to nerd up a little.

I do that too.. I'm a history major though, so I prefer some analog entertainment as well.
Cosplay - from costume play. A form of entertainment in which teens and adults spend a great deal of money and time making themselves look exactly like a character from a video game, tv show, or movie. Popular themes include Final Fantasy and various anime series.
Cosplay.com - the internet's premier cosplay community
DoA Volleyball - a volleyball console game featuring really hot female players wearing next to nothing.
IGN: Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball
TGS - the Tokyo Gaming Show - an industry conference similar to E3

Yeah... If you could kindly email the birthday boy the more banworthy links.. That would be appreciated.
Cosplay.com -
That's my favorite cosplayer. Maybe not as glamorous, but I like her costumes.

 She has a pay site. Google Alisachan. It's how she affords those ludicrous costumes I think.
She's
young. I wonder if her parents are paying for those costumes, or if she is coming up with the money herself. Those things aren't cheap. I mean, they aren't the same type of material, and they aren't as erm...exotic...but hers are ridiculously expensive. She tends to deal in leather and vinyl though, so that could be why.
Random note of the day, I happen to be allergic to vinyl I just found out.

Weird. Probably a good thing to know for future reference if I do hang out with the girl again.

Hooookay! That was.... enlightening.:speech:

I'm not quite ready to level up to that kind of nerdness.
I hereby declare that my son won't be getting any kind of computer game, internet access, or any sort of comic book I haven't personally picked for him, until he's had an "encounter" with a REAL girl. Period!

Pay site! Bah! I've never paid to look.. Oh wait.. Well, I'm not paying to look at her! Maybe.
She's not too young. I found her mypace once and she's college age. She pays for her costumes by modeling at conventions. You can pick up your jaw now.
@Moonbiter: Prolly a good move on your part.

 I wouldn't go that far. I've avoided them for over a year now, but girls tend to take a liking to me for my quirks and odd habits. Mostly my dorkiness, domestication and pervertism. I have to say, all things considered, I haven't done half bad with finding pretty ladies. Some girls like nerdy boys, and are nerdy themselves. I mean, look at miss superwoman here:
warning. dongs. She's dorky as all get out, and gets paid for being hot. I guarantee she's hooked up with some guy who's into comic books and video games.

Oh, they're certainly out there. Geek is chic, as they say.
