Am just about to commence a new game and have a couple of questions. First of all, how can I get my hands on the pantaloons from BG1 so I can collect the gear necessary to construct the BMU in Amekrath. Second, Ive never played with any mods before. I know there are plenty of posts on this subject, but Im a little overwhelmed by all thats available. basically I would like some extra NPCs and quests, some extra banter and merchants would be great and would really like to complete my Jahiera romance this time. Am playing a mage for the first time (have been a tank/melee character till now) any advice from my fellow gamers would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure, but I think I read somewhere that, if you want the golden pantalons, you have to obtain them in BGI and then import you charakter to BGII... And you should be abale to get the pantolons just as the game starts in Irenicus prison (they will be hidden in the room with the golem)

As for the pantaloons, just do a search in this forum on the word. You'll find out everything about them.
