Interesting characters

First off, my apologies if this type of thread has been done before recently. I thought I'd share the kinds of characters I've used so far and would like to hear about other character builds people have done. I wouldn't mind also hearing various little challenges people may have for designing characters or playing through the game.
I've only played through and completed the game once before and the build I used was very simple and practical. It was just a male human with no significant background and was designed as follows:
20 str 12 points
18 con 10 points
20 dex 12 points
09 bea Idol Quest
08 int
18 wil 10 points
08 per
12 cha 3 points + Gypsy Blessing
5 Dodge (M)
5 Melee (M)
5 Necromantic White
2 points leftover
This particular build as you can see is rather like a paladin from most RPGs. Very self sufficient due to being masterful at combat and healing with some (though not full) magical aptitude. The extra charisma was just to get another speaking follower to make the story more interesting.
Now, here is the character build I am currently playing through the game with. I wanted to try a tech build this time and approached combat very differently.
Male Half Orc with Miracle Operation background.
07 str 1 point
04 con
09 dex 4 points
07 bea Idol Quest
20 int 9 points
08 wil
16 per 3 points (Eye Gear brings it to 18)
10 cha Gypsy Blessing
2 Dodge (A)
1 Melee (A)
3 Spot Traps (E)
5 Gamble (M)
5 Repair (M)
5 Firearms (M)
3 Disarm Traps (E)
3 Herbology
6 Gunsmithy
7 Mechanical
7 Smithy
This sure is a change of pace from the first one. For a half orc this guy is surprisingly weak physically but also very intelligent and somewhat charming, even. As you can see he fights with firearms but his low strength keeps him restricted to handguns instead of big rifle type weapons. So far his primary weapons are the Fine Revolver and Bronwyck's Gun. I'll eventually upgrade from Fine Revolver to Hand Cannon.
He relies on big strong melee followers not just for combat but also to carry all his heavy stuff. He can also eventually make automatons to help him out even more. That's the primary reason he's masterful with repair: to keep his automatons in good working condition. I say eventually because I haven't gotten that far with him yet. He's lvl 21 still.
You're probably saying to yourself, "Man, that's a lot of tech aptitude." Yes, it is. If it wasn't capped at 100 either direction I don't doubt he would surpass 200 tech. Needless to say he is totally magic immune, and that coupled with his low strength and far lower constitution is the reason he has moderate Herbology skill.
