Today i thought I would try and complete the game using only th PC. Of course with a kensai mage. Damn some of the battles are hard esspescially those 2 trolls, 1 giant troll a spectral troll and a spiritual troll hunting you down. I just finished the hold and now am a lvl 10 kensai and 12 mage, the good thing is that you level up fast. The down side is that an easy party battle can be quite hard with a single character. Eg Rayic Gethras and his domination. I also found out that when he casted finger of death he killed me eben though I Had 100 HP what the hell is up with that. i thought it was less than 60 hp instant death with a Save v\s, And over 60 hp you take damage without dying. Something must ave gone wrong with the rules there. I was also wondering if anyone has done the twisted rune and defeated kangaxx with just your PC character, and without importing your other characters from completed games. Has anyone out there completed it solo with a new character from the start to finish? If you have tell me how high your levels were.

Actually, If you wanna try your limits but NOT get TOO frustrated, try to solo with an Inquisitor. At higher levels they are awesome and they even can kick Kangaxxe's filthy arse.

Still, a guy who is soloing with him, has a 21/22/21/20/21/22 (or something like that) stats roll (or so he claims) - It would be quite tiresome to tell you how he made his character like that.

With THOSE stats, even the Twisted Rune is a piece of cake

Yes the Twist Ruin wasn't that hard , but that lich he is a different story.

I haven't solo'd yet, I guess I should try it soon. I'm leaning toward Berzerker/Thief or Berzerker/Cleric. Berzerker enrage is amazing with all the protection it gives.

Monk would be another strong candidate though the early battles would be tough. I started Soloing with an Archer, but you need some way to get through locked doors and around traps.
