In chapter 3, I'm supposed to be finding out why the Elk Tribe is warring against Neverwinter. I know pretty much why, but when I try to go to the Uthgard fort to ask to talk to their leader, the gates are locked and I cannot get in. I'm told I need a special key.

I had gone there and killed the guards before finding the Elk Tribe Healer in the Orc cave. Do I need to go back and redo all of the Fort scenario again so I talk to the healer before ever getting near the Uthgard fort? Will that help?

Or am I missing a key or something from somewhere else?

You need to redo the Fort, and talk to the Healer/shaman dude in the cave, first.


Or you can just simply ignore that sidequest, as it won't lead you to the Word Stone.


Note: Only Tomi's quest leads you in there, for the Companions. You need the Ash of a Warrior. Everything else is but a bunch of sidequests.
