help!!! mutliplayer confusions...

I had started off playing as single player & got pretty far into the game before I realized that I had formed my main character all wrong. I then decided to go the multiplayer route & created 6 characters that I wanted to build up to import into Neverwinter Nights. I have been reproducing most of my previous steps except for a couple hitches.

Firstly, I cannot seem to travel past De'Arnise hold with my party. If I go to Tolgerias, he updates my map with Umar Hills, but I am not allowed to travel ther. Likewise, with Lord Fierkraag, I get an update for Windspear, but am not allowed to go.

I thought maybe I needed one of the NPC's to get to either of those locations, but if I dismiss one of my characters, I cannot find any way to retrieve him later. I thought he would go on 'standby' at the Copper Coronet or De'Arnise Hold (my stronghold), but he seemed altogether disappeared, & I had to revert to a previous save.

Is there some quest-portion I need to complete in Athkatla that I have forgotten about that will allow me to travel?

Also, is there anyway to "rest until healed" in under 16 hours?

Thanks to anyone who can lend insight! Image

Id you goto the bridge district and exit on the other side you will find that you can travel to all greyed out areas.

I found if a area is on your map but greyed out go to the nearest area and exit the screen on all 4 sides of the screen and usually it will let you get there.

Ah-HAH!!! Umar Hills, being East of De'Arnise hold, needed to be reached by exiting -- would you believe -- the East side of De'Arnise's map. *kicks own ass* Thanks! Image

Any ideas on the resting issue anyone? Image
