Has anyone gotten around to doing the rest of the female skins like the naked black & asian females? As well as the rest of the female armor or even dresses or robes for female wizards?? Is anyone doing anything with the males in the game also? I would really be interested in finding or getting these emailed to me as it makes the game more interesting again.

I have done a number of skins...the links ect are in the thread I started called "I had an idea" I just posted some stuff last night re: some stuff for guys.
What are you specifically looking for? I am also working on skins for the Asian female and have already done several for the Black. I am not sure how good my nude skins would be, but I can certainly try to make some...I won't post those on my webpage however but I could send them to you.
Making robes or dresses would be great, but impossible, unless someone knows how to do 3d modelling and is willing to create some sort of overide to make the game recognize the file. That is certainly not something I would be willing to do.
To make a robe armor would require 3D modeling as the current player models only have a leg texture, not a skirt. There are some models that has robes, but they are not supported by the game as player characters. You could see for yourself by downloading the Granny viewer that I posted in another thread and browsing to your
C:\Program Files\Dreamcatcher\Dungeon Lords\grn_model folder.
The one I am talking about is the PCHF (human female) basemodel robes, but there are others for female and male elf, as well as human male too.

I looked through the whole thread this morning that you pointed out and the links to your pages don't seem to work or at least don't for me... Could you email the stuff you have made to me?

Question, why does having a naked female body make the game more interesting?

It doesn't matter to me whether any character is nude or not, but I think some people enjoy nudity for their character. This isn't a far out request, a friend of mine made some nude armor for Dungeon Siege. I guess it just depends on what a person likes. If it is in the privacy of someone's home then it isn't for me to question how they enjoy their game.
Many of the armors I made for this game are skimpy, my only warning regarding it is to employ caution if a child has access to the game, or some other person who is easily offended by skimpy outfits. (and they really aren't
all that skimpy anyway.)
Iceman, I could email you the stuff, yes. But try this link first, it is to my main page and the nav bar will lead you to the various pages. It works fine for me...if not, send me a PM with your email addy.
Kathy's Stuff ::
Another thing to keep in mind is that Dungeon Lords doesn't support modding, like at all, so I am limited in what I can do. I can create almost any sort of look, but I can't create new file names because the game won't recognize them.
I made a preliminary nude for the black female and she looks just fine from the back and in front from below the waist. The front of the torso is just really hard for me to get right. There also is an area on the lower body that I am just
not going to duplicate, it is hinted at and that's all. (er, I think you know what I mean, I am blushing now...
 )
If you want to see it, send me a PM and I will see what I can do. Obviously, I can't post anything with nudity here at GB.

I'll tell you this, not having one certainly doesn't make it more interesting

Not to spark a huge debate, but...
This is simply one of those issues that people are going to have to "agree to disagree" on. There are people who will feel nudity is completely inapporopriate in games of this type and those who will want it. Just as an aside, how many folks on the forum here have complained about
violence in the games they play? These sorts of games are geared to a more mature person due to the violent content. It seems violence is far more acceptable than simple nudity.
The friend I mentioned previously who makes armor for Dungeon Siege has made several nude and semi-nude textures,
not because she is some "lewd pervert" but because she is a nudist and feels nudity is more natural than clothing. Whether or not one subscribes to that belief, it does present the point of view that nudity is not
simply about taking off one's clothes to be "naughty".
To sort of get back to Dungeon Lords and keeping this thread
semi on-topic I have decided to make a nude male skin for the default skin human male.
Purely in the interests of gender equality, naturally.
I have already completed his thigh area, which came out very well. There are certain anatomical areas that are presenting a challenge, due to the fact that they are not in 3 dimensions. That area may be covered with a fig leaf in order to keep me from tearing my hair out in frustration at not getting it correct.
