I plan to try this game but a little confused. The gold version requires 98mb RAM and the platinum 128meg RAM. So what is the difference between the two versions? they are both NWN.

Platinum Ed. has All 3 of NWN's Campaigns ( NWN OC, SoU, & HotU).
Diamond Ed. also includes some Premium Modules.
Gold Ed. Only has the Original Campaign, and Shadows of Undrentide.

I have the Platinum Edition. It doesn't contain Oc, but - as I read somewhere - Diamond Edition does.

I also get confused often with all the acronyms used on the forums.
In this thread, OC means Original Campaign (The Original Neverwinter Nights game) which is included in the Platinum Edition.
GoldDragon has explained the differences between the different versions very well. To those who have not bought their game yet, I would recommend the Diamond edition since it is the one that has the most content and since it is not expensive for everything you get.

Gilliat is correct, RohamQkac. In THIS topic, OC = Original Campaign, the first of the three games of NWN1 to come out.
More often, OC = Official Campaign, however....
I, too, reccomend getting Diamond Ed.
I purchased Platinum, however, and later Kingmaker. So I effectively have the Diamond Ed. but I paid more than if I had purchased the Diamond.

Ah, yeah. I misunderstand it, I associated OC letters to something else but I can't remember what. Sometimes I have memory lapse. >.DD

Don't worry about it. As I said, these acronyms can get very confusing.
