I have played the game alot and i am downloading it when this comes up...

Component transfer error

Component: Minimum uncompressed
file group: Minimum uncompressed language indepentent
file: E:\Data\ANMchar.bif
Error: Data error (cyclic redundandancy check)

Any help.?

Are you downloading the game from an illegal source? If so then the discussion of illegally obtained software or goods is not tolerated on these boards.

It means that the file in question is corrupt. Cyclic Redundancy Checks is the error correction used on CD's. Your CD is probably scratched. Try to clean it, and then make a backup copy.

:laugh: You dont get CRC errors from network sources, he doesnt really mean download, but rather install or execute
