FALLOUT 2 Need help

hi all can anyone help i have Fallout 2. (sold out software)
When i put the cd in then the auto load enables. The screen install comes up
Then i go to install. ! then it says would you like assistance during install i click No. Then up pops error initializing vidio mode (click ok to exit) Please can anyone help many thanks if you can A quinn

i think you need to push OK when about help in install if it does not work go and change the disk i think that this is bug whith the game Good kuck to you

thanks the game works if installed on 95 well ive had to pull my old old old com to play the darn thing if any other sujestions please reply many thanks again quinni1983

Have you tried compatibility mode?
Right click on the install -file, select properties and select "Compatibility" tab "or similiar". There check the box indicating that compatibility mode will be used and then select Windows 98 from the dropdown list.
