Once I get to the asylum its easy, just slayer transform. That ability is custom made for fighters, transforma and invoke greaterwhirlwind.
I went to catholic school, so I have a problem knocking off peasents and bystanders just to lower rep, and its too embarressing to be caught shoplifting just to lower your rep.
Too bad you can't make a contribution to the temple of talos....

True. I wish you could in fact join Talos, but that's not allowed. You don't actually have to kill anyone, though, to lower your rep. Just have a member of your party attack a citizen using a weapon they have no proficiency in. With luck, there won't be any injury, and your rep will still go down.
Of course, it lacks subtlety, but what can be expected in this context? Try Arcanum or the Fallout games for a more direct road to ruin.

Well if you don't like lowering rep without shoplifting and murder, how about shoplifting OR murder
But seriously I think you can use SK for that (not sure though, haven't used it for a while)

I think simple assault might do. go near a gate, hit someone with bare fists, and move to another area!!!!
When you get back later they will no longer be hostile, right?
I've never tried that, abd this way you can't kill off necessary sprites! By jove I think I got it!

No assault or murder?!? Well, there goes any fun in this game! I might as well buy the Sims! Gack, Choke, Collapse!

Think of it this way, murder is fine, but polymorph is funnier, and I certainly have no problem bashing everyone that gets in my way. In fact in watchers keep I waxed the demon to get the deck of many things. I mught even wax the silver dragon for her blood. but I draw the line at civilians.

We have the same problem, i have an evil kensai/mage but cant kill hapless little children, if you dont have the slayer ability, the best way to lower your rep at the beginning is by GETTING VICONIA for your party, which gives you a so very useful -2 to your rep. kicking her out and then LETTING HER JOIN AGAIN STILL gives you a clean -2 rep kick. simple and useful for people who wants to keep korgan, viconia and edwin's company.dont forget to see the manual for npc reaction to rep.

except your reputation always goes up two points whenever you kick viccy out. To lower your rep, go into a house with a civilian that has no bearing on the game and have someone like edwin punch her (bare fists only). that should lower your rep and have no effect on the game because the house has nothing to do with the plot. So all the times you went into a home in trademeet or athkatala and thought it stupid because there was nothing to do, now there is a reason.

Besides, I plan to sleep with viccy, any only girls can string you along like that and get away with it...

Poor civilian...you're just sitting in your house, and then this thayvian red wizard walks in, punches you in the face, and then walks out again!!!

This is, IMO, the best answer:
Save your main character, save your game. Reload the game,
import (replace) your main character from the saved character file. Your party reputation reverts to your
default reputation, based on alignment.
