isnt the cloak of mirroring and the shield of balduran supposed to reflect the rays from the beholders ? Im completly immune to them but the rays doesnt reflect back. anyone know anything about this ?

If you mean a Beholder's Anti-Magic Rays, those will not reflect. If you mean their other stuff like Death Ray, Cause Serious Wound, then I don't know, sounds like a bug. The Elder Orbs use spells sometimes instead of rays, and the Shield of Balduran will not reflect those. The cloak of Mirroring only reflect damage causing spells/rays. So Beholder attacks like fear or charm will not be reflected by the cloak.

If you have ToB, the cloak was change from "Cloak of Reflection" to "Cloak of Deflection".
