After almost 18 months, I’m finally returning to Sith Lords for a replay. This time I’m going dark side, so I’ve sided with Czerka while on Citadel Station. After enjoying all the dark side opportunities that Czerka had to offer, I finally headed for the surface of Telos aboard the Czerka shuttle. Much to my surprise, I was shot down during landing, just like I was when I used the Ithorian shuttle.

Can someone tell me why Czerka is firing on it’s own shuttle? Enquiring minds want to know.

Good point you brought up there. I may have not chosen Czerka before the last time I played but from what I recall of reading many walkthroughs, no matter what side you choose, you will still get shot down when you enter the restoration zone. Maybe it's because they still don't trust you?

i think its because your a jedi and the exchange was working with czerka and thus they knew about the bounty

You do have a valid point, you must have noticed that the only enemies you encounter on the planet are mercenaries.
Not a single Czerka security agent.
And dont forget the mercenaries stormed the Czerka HQ on the station before you leave for the planet, they might have discovered your pressence on the station or your intentions for going down to the planet and send a message planetside.

The only hint thing I've heard that makes any sense is when Bao talks about "Pirates" using air defense towers like the one that shot you down. I think the Pirate idea would fly, but they would need to add some dialog that pins the idea down.

On a side note, I did notice that you meet up with the escaping criminals that are in the Czerka office. But once again, are they working on Czerka orders or have they joined the mercenary revolt?

Czerka hires mercenaries. Mercenaries hear of Jedi bounty. Mercenaries rebel. Czerka sends Jedi to planet surface in shuttle. Mercenaries shoot down shuttle, trying to capture Jedi. It's not that hard to imagine.

I like the mercenary revolt idea and think that it makes the most sense. I think they could have explained it a bit better. Maybe have Bao working for Czerka (but not happy with them) to fix their local shield generator; he could be a witness to the revolt and later explain things to the General.
