Weird Wizard Slayer problem.

I just started a new game with a Wizard Slayer. He's level 7 and only has 7% magic resistance, but shouldn't he have 14%? This seemed odd so I did a little experiment. I used CLUA to raise his level to the maximum of 40. Now he has 84% natural magic resistance, which makes even less sense. I don't plan on going through the game like this, but I just thought that the numbers were really weird. According to the kit description, he should have 14% magic res at lvl 7 and 80% at lvl 40. Am I missing something?

What race is he? I can't remember but I'm sure some races have natural spell resistance (I know Viconia does in BG1 for example)

I don't know much about Wizard Slayers, but the race has nothing to do with it, unless you're using some mods. No PC race has MR.

I'm running some elements from Ease of Use, the Valen mod, some elements from Tactics, and all of Ascension. I don't remember anything from the readme files involving tweaked magic resistance for Wizard Slayers.

Wizard Slayer get 1% every level and starting at 20th he gets 5% every other and still gets 1% at levels where he doesn't get 5%. It's all in you ToB manual. 84% at level 40 is correct.

Thanks. Still, that's a very strange way of advancing his magic resistance.
