Hello all, I had an idea about upcoming games and some of them getting exclusive sections here on gamebanshee, kind of like Elder Scrolls: Oblivion had.
The idea is that I get a general opinion of what people think, in this case whether or not a forum is wanted or needed on gamebanshee.
Two worlds is so far a game that's advertised modestly but shows promise and ingenuity through it's previews. It's not as anticipated all that much unlike some other games, I do not know the reason, but from the already present previews and interviews, this game looks just as promising as oblivion did, and has the potential of being much better.
So, this is a simple poll, does it deserve a forum of it's own, or is it necessary/not worth the trouble? Or do you have a more neutral opinion?

Well, it should be pretty easy for any company to outmanoeuvre Bethsoft and deliver a better game than Oblivion. I think that's how things always have happened in the gaming industry. Would it be incredibly out of place to say that the bigger the disaster was that they managed to turn into an .. cough 'instant classic', the better it will be ripped off by other developers? I don't know if that should warrant enthusiastically creating forums for new Morrowind-likes though.
Yeah, I'm neutral on this. If people really want to discuss what games that haven't been released yet (or games that were released but disappointed us) should be all about, there is always the RPG Discussion forum. Wouldn't it make much more sense to create a Two Worlds forum post release date?

Wouldn't be such a bad idea to create a section for Two Worlds but I think it depends on how popular the game is. If not many people know about it, then it's not a good idea to start one until the the game itself is released. If, however, a lot of people know about Two Worlds and want to discuss it, then it wouldn't hurt to create a section for it.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

It isn't that big actually. Buck was able to cover Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion by himself and that's at least twice the gameplay hours and exploration hours as Two Worlds.dendob wrote:since i was kinda stuck in Two worlds ... i came looking on game banshee if it had a dedicated site to it but was denied the joy of finding one. im pro on this one, pure personally the game is huge to cover mind that but if it needs a boost or a help with it drop me aline

Two Worlds is actually much smaller and shorter than Oblivion? I didn't know that. I haven't heard much from this game after it's release.Siberys wrote:It isn't that big actually. Yeah, not nearly as many side quests, plus, not a lot of character development as oblivion had. Only 5 Schools of magic, Necromancy, Fire, Water, Air, and Earth, plus no diplomacy or mercantile IIRC.
Oh, and the world itself is only about 75% the size of oblivions.

I say nay.
Bought the game and couldn't get past the first few minutes. First of all i couldn't get the character to look the way i wanted (because the char at the creation screen and the char in game don't look that much alike), but that was a minor issue. The bigger problem i couldn't get over was the writing. It just too .. formal i guess would be the word. Just couldn't stand it.
Neways that's just my humble opinion.

When you compare a game to Oblivion, God kills a kitten.
