Just started the level, after
betraying the seer
and was asked what henchmen I wanted to summon back. The only one it seems I am allowed is Deekin and none of the others, not the original game ones that you can pair up with in first chapter or Valen/Drow Lady. Nothing in the walkthrough suggests that I have to pick them up later, is it a bug or have I done something wrong?

You can only call those henchman that you've been using, and even then only the ones available in Chapter 2.

Used drow lady in chapter 2 until I betrayed the seer, did that stop me from using her in chapter 3?

If you betrayed the Seer, isn't it likely that you simply killed Nathyrra? She'd probably be considered a hostile faction if she's still alive.

Your henchman are dead and are brought back to life unless you betray the seer. Why would they want to work with you when you just murdered their spiritual leader? If you kill hte seer then only Deekin is available as he worships you, but don't worry as there is a new henchman you can get in Ch.3
@Ningengirai - (spoiler about ch.2 so highlight to read)
Everyone is murdered including you so the whole lot are dead, the Reaper brings them back from wherever they went after they died. The only reason he will not bring the Seer's allies back if you betrayed her is because they are no longer on your side
.

Why wouldn't they want to work with me?
Sorry for being such an idiot and thank you for being so helpful.

Aah, okay. I'd considered playing the evil way once but then gave it up because the Valsharess annoyed me far too much. Thanks for the info!
