for $25 it's a damn good buy...for any price, it's a good buy.
if you liked BG2, then you should see it to it's completion

Definately get ToB. Some people have disliked the game but I doubt they didn't have any fun at all..... The game seems like its a bit rushed but you get used to it. Just remember that its an add-on and don't expect a whole sequel. (It is the best add-on I've ever played though, along with The Conquerers for AoK)

I think ToB is worth buying. However, it does have a rushed feel to it (namely it is buggy in places...and has even created bugs where their weren't any before). My only problem with ToB is that there isn't a patch out for it yet (other than the Beta which does not cure the most egregious bugs).

TOB is definitely worth buying ;) .
I was lucky enough to play through the whole TOB without bugs. Well, without major bugs. There were some minor ones but nothing too annoying. Sadly, for a lot of people playthrough was more inconvinient :( .
But still, this is a great game and worthy ending of Child of Bhaal' story.
I would say, TOB is must_have for everyone who loves BG2 ;) .

Just do a Search on "buy BG2" to get a sense of how people feel. ;)

ToB is by far the best "value for money" expansion I've ever played. It's quite difficult and linear, which may or may not be your thing, and some parts of it have a rushed and incomplete feel to it, but that is to be expected since the series was not supposed to end with the expansion. When you have to squeeze a full game into an expansion, a lot of stuff has to be cut. :(

The main villain is transparent as glass and could never even dream of holding a candle to Sarevok or Irenicus. Still, I do like the storyline and its closure, and the new NPC also has some very nice dialog to offer.

If you're a "true" fan of the series, get ToB. If you're less of a fanatic but into big dungeon crawls and lots of fighting, get it. But if it's lots of freedom you want, or a truly intricate story, you'll probably be a bit disappointed. Still, keep in mind that it's "only" an expansion, but one that'll keep you busy for longer than some stand-alone games.
