Ok, now before anyone screams "search the forum" I have, and it came up blank, which is strange because I know for a fact that I have asked about this problem here before, a long time ago.

After installing the 3.5 patch I am met with the following error upon booting the game up:

"Parent template 'Scurrying' not loaded before dependent template 'NPCGeneric'"

I've seem this error before on a previous patch and I know there is a solution, but I'll be damned if I can remember or find it. Hell I searched that entire sentance in google and it brought up exactly zero pages!

Sorry if I sound like I'm having a moan, it's just I'm rather shocked that the information about this problem seems to have vanished!

I'll be greatful if anyone can help.

Try this: Go to the ~Vampire\vdata\system folder. If you see any files with "npctemplate" in their file name, delete them.

Of course, you should make backup copies of them first.
