I am in chapter 1 fortress gate level and the game crashes back to windows and says An assertion failed in Cstore.cpp at line number 200. I have patch 2.01 installed, emptied temp folders, installed the slow fix files, reinstalled the game and the game still crashes with assertion failed. What do I do to fix this?

I'm not sure, but I suspect the slow-fix files. Aside from those, you have the same setup I have, and I've never had a crash there.

Try without the slow-fixes.

Nevermind I got it to work now. I just reinstalled again and this time it worked.
