ok ive got an geforcefx 5200 graphcs card, with all current drivers installed
1 gig ram
more than enough memory space
sound cards fine

and its still wont work properly, ive set everything to its lowest settings but still its not right im not talking small lag here im talking anything from 5 to 20 seconds. Music and voices are fine but the playability is not happening.

I downloaded the patch (version 1.48 i think or something like that) that the installation directed me to and it didnt help, i uninstalled and reinstalled this time without the patch

anything you guys know that can help please.

FX 5200 is too old a video card to play this game. I couldn't get it to run with an FX 5500. You need a new card.

All FXes are broken for Dx9.0c Direct3D

Not merely "old" for that one. All of the FXes had the nVidia non-Dx9 version of "SM-4" or some such, instead of the proper Microsoft pixel shader SM-2 version. Within the FXes, that 5200 was so puny and slow that even an awful MX-400 outruns it in 2D.

(Technically, the 5200 and 5500 were fraternal twins, with a small difference in core speed.)
