Where art thou, robe of vecna vendor?

Since I have installed ToB, I have noticied a number of differences, one being that the robe of vecna dealer is apparently replaced with a scroll dealer. What gives? Is the robe still in the game? I really would like to get it legit for my fighter/mage rather than shadowkeeper it.

The robe of Vecna dealer should be in the Adventurers mart, just right up the stairs, I'm pretty sure her name is Deidre.
Also, your ToB install might've erased the file that had the bonus merchants, try re-installing them.

I have ToB installed but I never got any new chick selling scrolls

Download and install the full eng patch for tob from bioware. this includes the robe seller.

@General: ToB doesn't install the bonus vendors for you. You have to download the patch that was released with them on it. You can get it from the BG2 D/L's page on GB, or go to other sites like Baldurdash or Interply.

We will d/l and install the latest patch, but I've played this game through on the same install about seven times and the vecna vendor was always there (I installed the bonus cd file a long-butt time ago).

tob patch resolved this issue
