Is there a way to change the order the characters walk? I would want the mage and cleric toward the back and the fighters up front. Right now I have Xan and Jaheira second and third to last. I would want them fifth and sixth in the marching order.

Left click on a portrait and hold, then drag that portrait over the one further up or down. They should change places.

You can also change formations using the quick formations, which can come in handy sometimes, although you may still need to alter the marching order to one that suits you in order to get the most out of these.
