I hope someone can help me out. I cannot find ironwood in Chapter 1

I do belive the iron wood from the peninsula district has been removed.

Nyatar, the druid who gives you the zoo quest, still hands it out if you persuade him for extra reward after you finish his quest ( as of the NWN version that came with NWN2, updated & patched ).

and what is it for?

You can use it together with other items in order to make magical weapons - visit the smith in Chapter 1 (Neverwinter Core District - he is downstairs from the Half-Orc trader, but you will need to get the trader to give you a ward stone to reach him) and he will give you a book listing the weapons and which components/items are needed to make them, as well as make them for you.

Is there anywhere you can find it in the 3rd chapter?
I want my flail! xD
