When does Disciple get his Force Powers?

Hi - I just got Disciple as a party member. But until now he has no force powers. When does he get them?

Just keep gaining influence with him and you'll be able to train him. From that point he'll be a Jedi Consular, and will gain force powers each level, like other Jedi.
The Soldier/Consular combo doesn't quite work for him though, because his WIS and CHA generally suck, so he can't really get past any saves. But, even as a soldier, pretty much everyone else is way better than him.
