What was Arundel reading?

When I went to Arundel's home, he was reading something. What was it?
I didnt even know he was reading something...
OH wait. I dont think he is. Are you simply seeing his arms crossed? because thats not a book hes holding, thats his stinky druid arms with the sleeves rolled up. It can be quite confusing...hehe. I dont think there is an animation for reading a book in IWD anyways.
