Hey all... I've seen hints of this compilation, but can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm in the US. If anyone could help me get this or get info on this I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks!

Well you can find it on eBay.
But from what I have heard, the DVD version does not work well. I don't have this version though, so I can't say for sure, and I can't recall where I heard that. Maybe someone who owns that version can confirm or deny this "rumour".

hopefully someone can. i recently lost my old BG II copy due to a robbery, and being able to get all four in one dvd ala command and conquer's first decade would rock.

If you only lost your BG II copy and still have BG I, you can buy the Baldur's Gate II collection on Amazon.com for 10 $.

Again, Google is your friend. Try doing a search on "Baldur's Gate," expansion, compilation, and DVD, at the same time. You should get some UK sites that have it.

I did google it... and I could find a few sites, like amazon.co.uk, but they don't send to the states. So... yeah, google taunts me at the moment!

The third party dealers won't mail to the States? Have you queried one? Perhaps they will, for an imcreased price. That's your best bet, if you want the DVD.

On the first link Fable gave you (Amazon USA), look at the resellers, you will find that the first one is selling the DVD.
I also found two sellers on eBay: James Gardiner and Noctalis. I bought from both and can recommand them without any hesitation.
You can also use the GameBanshee search engine and type Baldur's Gate dvd, you will find some comments made by members here about the dvd version.

Contrarily to the DVD players we put in our living rooms to watch movies, most of the PC DVD players can read and play DVDs from around the world. I played games from France, form the UK and from Singapour on mine.

I have the 4DVD set bought in UK. Nowadays there is a release which includes Neverwinter Nights as well. I don't know much about that release but suspect that it will be the same as the 4DVD set. Stores such as Gameworld and PC World sell it. I had the problem that it said that it was only useable in Canada and the USA. This and several of the other problems were solved by downloading the UK patch. My other problems may be due to having installed XP. There is a lot of info on the Bioware website. However, if you have the CDs, I would still recommend that you use them and do a full install. That way you don't have to keep swapping CDs. Whilst the patch does solve most of the problems, in my opinion it is not as good as the individual releases. Of course, the problems that I have had might not apply in the US as the DVDs were clearly made for that market even if they are not sold there.
