Doesn't the overflow bag only happen in the XBox version of the game?
If so.... the mod option wouldn't work...

When you step over the number of items in one cell, you loose them all! But it never happened to me!

Thanks for the explanation, I've never lost everything, but I have thought that I's lost some stuff in the past. Namely ingredients in the Balmora mage guild where I usually stockpile them. The cut-off must be in terms of stacks of items though, as I've definitely had (and still have) much more than 1024 ingredients in that cell, but most of them in stacks, like 200 Salt Rice etc..

I guess I'll have to come up with a new way of stashing my ingredients.

You don't lose the items they go into the overflow bag.

In all the time I've been playing the game, I've never gotten an overflow bag....
I'm not exactly a pack rat, but I'm certain that my alchemy ingredients alone would have totalled 1024.
Odd...

That's probaly because you're putting them down in stacks.

As I've stated earlier, I've always layed out all my ingerdients on a table in the mages guild, had to be way over 1024, but I think it counts stacks as single items no matter how many ingredients are in the stack.

Question? Does this affect the items placed in alchemy jars? Although I believe it would treat them as being placed in stacks also.
Would hate to lose these, present game, I'm saving up large amounts till later in game to spend a lot of time upping my skill level.

Are you referring to the ones that come with some of the mods like Uvirith Unleashed or Rethan Expansion? If so, items placed withing them shouldn't affect the limit as far as I know.

Yes, the mod is the small house mod: Abu's retreat.
My thinking is that it will treat them like placed in stacks.

I think if they're in a seperate container like the Alchemy Jars (which I think are well cool BTW) they exist in their own, seperate space and don't 'exist' in the game (for rendering purposes) until you open the container.

That is correct. Which is why the container has to be dropped when you start a playing session, then picked up before it can be opened.

Well I just ran both "lootbag" and "loot bag" through the Planet Elderscrolls search engine and came up empty-handed. If is not there....it very likely does not exist. What I suggest though is doing a search on Google using something like:

Loot bag + Morrowind"

Alternatively, you may have luck in finding a high capacity container mod of some kind...
I use Dave Humphries' Furniture Shop and a large trunk from there is currently housing all of my alchemy ingredients.

I'm pretty sure you would have to use a script extender to fix that.
