Persuasion problem

Hello there people, long time floater, first time poster.

I just picked this game up again after not playing it for ages, but I've run into a minor, but slightly anoying problem or two.

I remember from earlier experience that once you get the "Huntet Hunter" quest from Knox you can use persuation to get him to tell you the whole truth. Now I've bumped my persuation up to eight as early as possible, but he still refuses to spill his guts!

I have also seen some mention that as a Malk, my current clan, can use dementation to get him to talk, but this option did not come up either.

Does any of you regulars out there know roughly, off the top of you head, what's needed to talk circles around this twerp?

Thanks in advance.

There was a thread on this just recently. Inspection is the feat that allows you to notice he might not be altogether forthcoming. That is what gives you the option to ask the right question.

Yep, old answer: Getting the truth out of Knox

What you need to get the truth out of Knox:
1.) Perception 3 (Not inspection) or higher
2.) Persuasion or Intimidate 3 or higher

Right. Perception for Knox. Inspection was for Johansen.
