I just made a new Character a breton completely reliant on magic i made his birth sign the Atronach ie 150 plus magicka but it doesn't regenerate instead you absorb 50% of the spells cast at you (i think) and i made 6 out of my 7 major skills magic arts (i chose blade instead of Alchemy) and i was just wandering if any one has any strategies to compensate for the lack of magic regeneration

I was considering trying 2 raise my conjuration fast so i can summon magic creatures and irritate them to the point they attack me any one else have a better idea?

thanks in advance

Create enchanted equipment that will help you absorb spells. Maybe there are some artifacts that will help you too. Combined with the magic resistances of an Orc (or Breton, to a lesser extend), you could easily make a character that's practically immune to magic.

Welkland Stones are particulary useful. My own mage is never allowed to leave the leave the house without a nice supply of welkland stones. They can be found in all Elven ruins, and return your magica to full.

I wouldn't / haven't on my main character (level 42) but now I've done most of the things i want to with him i don't mind cheating as much on another character
