I've been waiting to knoght anomen FOREVER!! it seems like. I have no more quests to do! I know i have to wait 10 game days for it to happen, which would traslate to about 20 hours of realtime. I know Ihave a few days out of the way. Will it affect the story or storyline plot if I rest until it triggers? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I assume that you are through with Anomen's quest regarding giving justice to his sister's death... after that you are supposed to reach a certain level (17 or 21? I forgot) before this Paladin dude approaches you requesting Anomen's presence at the Paladin stronghold.

ok, I' really confused, some people say I have to reach a certain level, others say it takes 10 game days...which one is it???

Could be whichever one happens first.

Also, if it's time, just try resting or travelling it away. It can take you like 2 minutes that way.

Don't know about the game days but if you reach level 14 than the paladine comes to fetch Anomen. You can try and rest but if you like still have some none dungen quests like the sculpture quest and dawn ring quest to do try doing them.

Geez... I don't know much about that length of time... I guess I was just too busy concentrating on other stuff then all of a sudden this paladin pops up and tells Anomen to proceed to the paladin stronghold.

Tell you what, if you run out of quest why don't you try giving your party some "practice" by going to Nalia's castle (out in the field) or Umar Hills? Spawn some monsters of your choice, choose the their numbers and set up their location and give your party some "workout." That way your party "keeps in shape," you get those extra xp's and you spend some game time in the process (I assume of course you'd have to have your spells memorized). The places I mentioned are ideal coz you'd get to rest somewhere near without being disturbed, (and if you're stingy, you'd not have to pay any inn)

Just a clarification Anomen has be level 13 or 14. If you are romancing Anomen you don't have to wait for the Paladine guy. Anomen tells you in one of the L triggers its time for his test.

When I played Anomen didn't get knighted until level 15, leading me to believe that his test for knighthood is some kind of random.
So, if you've finished all possible quests, then you're kind of screwed as far as I'm concerned.

After you convince Anomen not to seek vengence for his sister's death, you THEN have to go to the magistrate (in the Govt Dist) and talk to her.

After she turns you down, you have to convince Anomen again. In my playing experience, his test will happen 6-10 days after that (in game time). I have had Anomen knighted by early chapter 2.

I am about 99% sure that Anomen's Test times out in game days (and doesn't have anything to do with his level). Might I suggest, save the game and then sleep until Sir Ryan Trawl turns up. Doing it this way will *not* have any detrimental effect. :) And if it doesn't work, you 've always got your save game...

Anomen's knighthood has nothing to do with his level. Spoilers below...

If you are not romancing Anomen, then 10 game days after he speaks to his father about his sister's death, he will be summoned to the order.

If you are romancing Anomen, he will be summoned shortly after the following dialog: "My Test is coming very soon, my lady..."

Yesterday, I had Anomen knighted at level 10! My NPC does not romance him. So I'm pretty sure it has absolutely nothing to do with his level.

Refer to my above post. This was taken directly out of the dialog and script files.

1. I posted the link because there's more in there than the romance. I posted the link to the first page to give you a lead-in to the entire topic, which does at some points address such issues as the one you're concerned with.

2. Since my membership in the Psychic Friends expired, I have no way of knowing:
--what your gender is
--what gender your character is.

3. Related to 2 above: On occasion, male players do play female PCs and female players play male PCs.

Just wanted to clear all that up.
