when you're buying stuff on baldur's gate theres a way to buy more of the same item at once is there away on nw2 to buy 10 healing potions at a time??? (kind of a dumb questiion)

Most of the merchants in NWN2 have only limited supplies of healing potions (unlimited suppliesof lower level potions only). Thus the only way to get multiples is to buy the first and then see that the item does not disappear from the list of available items.
Another minor detail is that healing kits are going to be more effective than potions as well - working as antidotes and disease cures as well as healing hit points.

Not a dumb question at all. The above is true, and you would think that the game devs would have incorporated this at release. At least tell you which items you can buy multiples of before having to buy and find out how many the merchant is carrying.

If you mean buying in bulk as in "clicking on object turns up a window where you can indicate how many you want to buy at once", no. At least not in my game, though I'd certainly appreciate it if it was included in a future patch.

I just found something out that can make a difference to those who do not like to run clerics in the party. There is a source of Heal potions who has an unlimited (more than I cared to buy anyways) supply: spoiler -

Nice tip.
A stash of those can make you nigh invincible in this game, and gold is certainly not an issue...

There are also at least 3 Rings of Regeneration (4HP/r), 2 Rings of Power (1HP/r), 1 Lesser Ring of Power (1HP/r), 1 Greater Amulet of Health (1HP/r), and 1 Fencer's Blade (1HP/r) available in the game in either treasure or shops.
Another minor item is the amount of storage available: 1 Bag of Holding, 2 Greater Magic Bags, 4 Magic Bags, 5 Lesser Magic Bags, and 1 Magic Pouch.
There are also a number of storage spots in Crossroad Keep: shelves in the library, shelves in the basement, desk in the west wing, cabinet in the personal suite. There is even storage available in Chapter 2 at Duncan's Inn after the trial: the two chests that originally hold Lorne's property and the gift from Nasher. This does not count the chests available at Fort Locke.
As of v1.03 these are all capable of holding over 140 items so there is not a shortage of containers available
