hi guys,
A friend of mine and I are having major bug issues with the Multiplayer LAN games, and the quests resetting when we restart another day. And quests just being generally bugged.
Any ideas as to why?
P.S No it's not the Collectors edition, but surely before you release a product it should have fixed 80% if not more of the bugs.
Patches up to 1.4

I'm afraid the short answer is that multiplayer is plagued with more bugs than single player. If you are patched to 1.4, then I am not sure what else to suggest. I played alot of multiplayer LAN games and was fairly lucky, but some things are just going to be very hard to deal with.

thanks for the reply,
well I hope the dev's take notice ... this game is only 2 years old and there's no bug fixes? this blows. It's a good game and has the potential to be great but the bug's are making it unplayable. Maybe if it wasn't rushed or they knew what they were doing they may have released a complete ( not so many bugs OR at the VERY LEAST ) released patches to fix the problems.
I won't be playing anymore or buying any further products from Development company as they obviously can't release a finished product and no point paying for something half assed

The patches
were the bug fixes. I have never played the 1.1 version but apparently it was very, very bugged. I purchased the 1.3 version of the game over a year ago and patched it to 1.4. That did help with many of the bugs that I had been noticing with 1.3. I received the Collector's Edition several months ago, and that is somewhat smoother than previous editions.
Was the handling of the game by the company (s) involved flawed? I don't think you will find anyone who has played this game that will disagree with that. However, I have gotten
many hours of fun out of the game despite the flaws and glitches. It is a shame, and I agree that I would not particularly trust DreamWorks or Heuristic Park in the future.
The best suggestion I can offer is try the game in single player, which
does run better than multiplayer.

unfortunately it defeats the reason I started playing it, as I want to play with others. Single player games only go so far but there is much more enjoyment out of doing things with others. Well back to MMO's I guess then,
Thanks all for your help/advise
