Hmm Annoying and very bad error

Hi,

I just installed the dvd version of BG onto my toshiba notebook with all the right specs. I can start a game and leave candlekeep etc. All seems fine, until i try to press that head button that shows your stats. Then the game crashes and i have to restart my computer.

Please help

Oh btw i dont have any patches or fixes installed, could this be the problem?

It's always recommendable to patch your game before playing it.

With the DVD version, patches are essential. Mine wouldn't work at all either until I got the patches.
