Hey guys, I was just wondering, I am having a problem with my main character, his sight of view is VERY VERY close to himself.. its like he's blind as a bat! lol.. the view that extends from him is very very small.. its about litterly less then an INCH away from him... is it suppose to be like this or??.. The only problem I see with this is where when i cast offensive magic spells
My main dude autoamtically runs to the mob, b/c u can't see it or something even when my other characters are around.. is there a reason for this?.. I have a dual class, berserker/mage..
aerie is fine, she casts spell with ease.. whats wrong?.. thanks!

Is he evil?? Have you cast Holy Smite?? The only think I can think of is the bug with Holy Smite that causes PC's permanent blindness. There is a fix if that is the problem. Otherwise, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Does your character profile say "blind"?
Where were you when you noticed it?
I only remember being blind one time in the cult of the eyeless.....blind clerics and pets and....and....it was a mess.

Did some high level Druid cast Nature's Beauty? That's permanent (and no save versus the blindness).

From Bioware site www.bioware.com
"Line-of-sight bug
There is a bug where the main character suddenly cannot see any further than about 2 ft. in front of him/her. We have figured out a temporary solution to this bug, until a patch is released. Simply cast one of the following spells on your afflicted character and your line of sight will be returned to normal:
Heal (6th level cleric and druid spell, also available at a temple)
Neutralize poison (4th level cleric and druid spell, also available at a temple)
Cure disease (3rd level cleric and druid spell, also available at a temple) This is fixed in the BG2 Patch "
I hope that helps.
