How do sorcerer cast spells?

Post by ginxian »

I try figuring it out since the second I got Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, but I can't. :-( How do you cast spells using a sorcerer? Explain it to the slightest detail please. My "Cast Spells" and "Quick Spells" buttons are black out. I didn't have any other files installed other then Throne of Bhaal. Please help. Thank you.

A sorceror casts spells the same way as the mages do. If you're just starting out in Irenicus's dungeon, you have to rest right away in order to cast spells. Once you have done that, you should see the "Cast spells" button highlight.

There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

Yups, resting is very likely the problem in this case... A lot of people asked this question in the past, on numerous message boards, while the solution is actually quite simple... But I thought Clerics needed to rest first as well before being able to cast spells?

Grojlach: Nope. Clerics or Druids don't have to rest. Just like mages. Only Sorcerors.
