hey guys, i was just wondering if any of you could help me with drizzt.

do you have to have completed a certain amount of the game to meet him? and is it a good idea to ask for his help or is it better to attack him? cause i want to get his items but his help would be welcome against bodhi?

You'll meet him at a certain point in the game. You can't keep his items, unless you cheat they'll be taken away after the Bodhi fight in chapter6.
So it doesn't really matter if you kill him directly or ask him for help or have him die helping.
