Ok took on one of the critters beat it after a long fight now I can't get out. Help....

If you saved and loaded your game while in the arena, then the doors won't open to let you out. Hopefully you have a saved game that you can go back to. If not, you might want to look at the thread about the save game editor. Since you're outside, it should be easy to change your position.
