Anyone notice that the names of the player NPCs in SoA are remarkably similar in length? The vast majority of them are either 5 or 7 letters in length.
5 letter names:
Mazzy
Imoen
Nalia
Cernd
Minsc
Edwin
Aerie
7 letter names:
Keldorn
Valygar
Sarevok
Viconia
Jaheira
Yoshimo
Other names:
Jan
Korgan
Anomen
Haer Dalis
That's 13 names that are 5 or 7 letters in length, compared to only 4 names of any other length.
Okay, all right, I guess I'm bored.

Try doing it with the full names and see if your theory still holds

You know what is even more interesting is that the number of letters in the names of people posting in this column shows no discernable pattern. Wow.

12 letter names

(I actually was going to predict that most names have 5 or 7 letters, and was going to use the not-so-random sample of this topic as a test, but apparently the sample is too small because I would never admit to my hypothesis being incorrect.)

And what about Jaheira's last name ?
I don't recall that being mentioned anywhere in SoA or ToB ...
