Hey there,
I'm doing Hell at Hallowbrook Hotel, and I'm at the part where the Tremere bloke is shooting flame about the room, standing at the top of the stairs. I manage to kill him but the flames keep coming and I can't open any doors or anything. I updated with the official patch recently, so I don't think it would be that, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, after you kill him, the flames should stop. Than there's no door you need to open. Just go down and find an already open door/path.
You can find the way on the same room the boss was standing, just go down the stairs and look around for it.
