when I enter the wyvern's nest to complete the quest of coran, as soon as the first wyvern is killed, the game quits to windows having an error message saying about chitin and so. does anyone knows how to fix the problem?

Oh yes, this happens all the time. There is no known way of fixing it, except doing what I do: when the beast is about to die, go to your inventory. Alternatively, scroll away. It's a graphical thing, so as long as you don't see it die, you'll be ok.

This has never happened to me, but that could be because I do it before getting Coran to join me. You might find that to be an acceptable workround.

No, I'm sure it's technical and to do with the graphics. I read about it in tech support. Happens on some new machines.

Edit: It does not just happen in the cavern, but whenever you get ambushed by wyverns between maps.
