i was reading the manual and in the Spell chart for Clerics and druids,

it says "Clerics with high wisdom receives bonus spells per level''. it says nothing about druids..um..do they get wisdom bonus to the number of spells that can be cast? I haven't played a druid yet but im planning on one.

Oh. another question. Im not THAT familiar with DnD rules, sorry if its stupid. For ranged weapons, To Hit comes from Dex Modifier and Damage comes from Str modifier..is that right?

What about weapon finesse? Do both to hit and damage come from Dex Modifier?

For the spells, yeah, anything wisdom affects Druids, Paladins, and Clerics.

As for Bows. Dexterity modifies attack, but strength does not modify damage unless you get a composite bow (and I don't think those are in icewind dale 2).

Weapon Finesse, all that does is allow you to use light weapons and certain other weapons with dexterity as your attack modifier rather than strength. It has nothing to do with ranged weapons whatsoever.

.

extra spells:

all caster get them, divine and druid always from WIS

ranged weapon:

- AB always from DEX (besides some/all throwing weapons)
- Damage bonus (from STR) only for slings and throwing weapons like axes
- all x-bows, and bows (including composite) should never get any STR boni

weapon finesse:

- only small (and/or light) weapons (not 100% sure)
- AB from DEX
- Damage bonus from STR
