I got the quest to hunt down the Thieves Guild from Andre, I've killed Attile and got the rusty key, I've talked to Lares to find out where the hideout might be in the sewer. I swam to the wooden door in a big rock arch but I can get no access to open this door. I tried opening up my inventory clicking on the key but it doesn't work. I'm playing the PC version of this game. When I approach the door there is no writing on the screen identifying it therefore no way of interacting with it. Is there something else I need to before I can access this door? Or is this a glitch? P.S. I only did two quests in favor of the Paladins but I did do one in favor of the Thieves Guild by letting the fishmonger go. Is it because I need to do all 3 quests in favor for either the Paladins or the Thieves Guild? Thanks, jaguar10

It's normal for there to be no description of the door when you look at it. Look straight at it, and do what you normally do to open a door. You may have to step back slightly from the door before using it.

If it gives you the message about needing a key, you either didn't get the key from Atille or there's a glitch. Otherwise, you should be able to open the door. I've not encountered or read about a glitch where it's impossible to access the door, but I suppose it's possible.
