just two questions plzz

1. after i battled josephina i recived 2 ceremonial items, a weird looking necklace (well i guess it is) a book, but what is the other cause if it the unidentify staff it like stuck in the wall and i cant get it 
so the question is what can i do?? 2.the dragon belt: its suppose to be in the abondon house but it not there i have checked. is it suppose to drop after i killed the guy or in a chest or something?? plzz help i dont want to have to start allll over again thx for ur time
